CDS Group Supplies Large Composites Curing Oven to University of Sheffield AMRC
CDS Group is proud to have supplied a large composites curing oven to the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC). The equipment supports the AMRC’s new Composites at Speed and Scale (COMPASS) facility, which has been developed to advance high-rate, large-scale composite manufacturing in the UK. Initially focused on aerospace production, the facility will support research into lighter aircraft structures, automated manufacturing and more efficient production processes. The technologies developed could also benefit the defence, renewable energy, transport and wider advanced manufacturing sectors.
